Visualization: An Important Step to Realize Your Dreams

I’m a big proponent of vision boards and visualizing what you want in order to achieve it. A clear vision coupled with clarity, faith, confidence and focused action will set you on the path to success.

But clarity is key.

Want to quit your soul sucking day job in favor of the freedom of self-employment, but you aren’t clear on the steps to take.

Love to take an exotic vacation, but you aren’t sure where to go—or how to make it happen.

Need to grow your business, but aren’t even sure what that means.

The truth is, with ambiguous “goals” such as these, in five or ten years, you’ll still be stuck right where you’re at today.

But with a little clarity, you can achieve any goal you can conceive—and even some you haven’t dared dream. And the first step is to visualize what you want. To see it happen, to see yourself there, and believe your vision will become reality.

If you’re feeling stuck, think about what’s really holding you back and take steps clear the path.

Making It a Daily Practice

One of the reasons I believe in making vision boards is because it puts your dreams right in front of you everyday. I suggest taking a picture and making it your screen saver on your computer and your phone. By doing this you’re engaging in a mini visualization exercise everyday. This daily practice of breathing in your dreams helps to set your mind and your thinking on your vision. Your thinking influences how you feel which will inform your behavior and ultimate results in your life.

If you need help putting a vision board together you can get a copy of my Vision Board Workbook  and start the process.

I’m also sharing this great article on how and why you should make visualization a daily practice.

Are you struggling gaining the clarity you need to pursue your dreams?

I help successful professional women gain the clarity they need to discover and do their life’s work. My work and process prepares them by giving them the tools and confidence needed to unapologetically do what they know they were always meant to do.

Is that you? Then let’s connect and get you on track to realize your dreams.

Live, laugh and unapologetically shine!
