One of the key things I tell my clients is, “when your color is in season, go shopping!” The fall color palette has a beautiful array of colors that have warm, deep, and soft tones.
Here’s a review of the colors Pantone spotted on the runways for the fall and winter season. Which will you add to your fall/winter wardrobe?
A powerful, evocative, dynamic red, Grenadine is a confident and self-assured attention-getter. This color has a lot of energy and great to wear on stage and at networking events to get noticed.
Taking the Red family to new depths, Tawny Port is elegant, sophisticated, and tasteful. The depth of color is perfect for the fall season and would pair beautifully with navy, blush and caramel.
Descended from the red family but with a softer touch, Ballet Slipper is always flattering and reminiscent of the rosy glow of health. This soft pink color will carry over from the spring and summer into fall wardrobes. When paired with winter white this will make for an refined and elevated look.
This snug, warming, and toasty shade is evocative of drinking a glass of Butterrum by a roaring fire on a cool autumn evening. This grounding color is perfect to wear when working to build trust and connection with your customers and clients,
A mainstay for the season for both palettes, Navy Peony is a dependable and an anchoring shade. Solid and stable, the hue takes some of the load off of black as a go-to neutral. A tried and true neutral that looks beautiful on most and I do love it as a replacement for black.
The standard bearer of all neutrals, Neutral Gray shares the anchoring role with Navy Peony in this palette. It can be used as an accent or a head-to-toe statement shade.
Shaded Spruce is a green you might see in the forest – sheltering and protective as evergreen trees. This deep green has a bit of blue in it and is a great color to wear when you need to be active or engage in a new endeavor.
Earthy tones with a twist, the golden undertones of Golden Lime makes this yellow-green shade a refreshing complement to fall classics. This mixture has a healing energy and good to wear for improved health and wellness.
Cool with an enhanced vitality, Marina is the only truly cool color in the fall palette that brings with it freshness and brightness. Considered a soft blue this color is distinct and beautifully paired with navy.
A quintessential autumn color, Autumn Maple is tawny and russet, introducing warmth into the palette. A tried and true staple for fall, Autumn Maple is a nurturing color and great to wear when you want to feel grounded and secure.
